Roger Waters. The Wall - Live in Berlin (1990) [Música][Conciertos]

Concierto histórico donde los haya, este que sirvió para conmemorar la caída del Muro de Berlín en 1990. Para tal evento, se eligió la obra de Pink Floyd, The Wall, que aunque no tiene estrictamente que ver con lo que ocurría en Alemania, ya que el muro al que hace referencia es interior, vino que ni al pelo para la ocasión. Lo curioso del caso es que el concierto se encarga a Roger Waters, bajista y compositor en Pink Floyd pero que por aquel entonces ya no estaba en la banda.

La puesta en escena es deudora en cierta medida de la usada por Pink Floyd en la gira promocional de su disco The Wall, donde, literalmente, se construía un muro que separaba al público de la banda según iba avanzando el concierto y, al final, se destruía quedando otra vez despejado el escenario. 

Eso sí, en este caso el escenario es gigantesco. Durante la actuación entran varios coches y un pequeño ejército de gente y caben perfectamente. Desde luego debió ser una pasada estar en este evento irrepetible, al igual que en otros similares como Live Aid.

Bueno, el concierto en sí es una representación íntegra de The Wall de Pink Floyd en el que van participando diferentes artistas consagrados, y muy famosos por aquel entonces como Scorpions, Van Morrison, Sinead O'Connor, Cindy Lauper, Paul Carrack, Thomas Dolby (¡qué peinado!), una banda de rock que suena muy compacta y una orquesta y un coro que le dan un sonido total a todo el conjunto, sin olvidar al propio Roger Waters que hace las voces principales en todo el concierto.

Pues lo dicho, un gran evento (350.000 asistentes), con grandes músicos y una gran puesta en escena visual. Lástima que la copia que he visto sea de una calidad más que regular. A continuación os pongo la lista de canciones, sacada de la Wikipedia:
